Terms & Conditions Please Note:To complete a booking you will need the following:
You have the option of either paying a deposit or paying in full for your holiday. The non refundable deposit is a standard £150 for any date. A booking is only valid when the completed booking form, full payment, or deposit has been received and confirmed by the owners in writing. Once a booking is confirmed by the owners the customer will be informed by email or letter and the availability calendar on the web site will be updated. Payments to secure the booking can be made by cheque, bank transfer or by debit/credit cards using the PayPal function on this site. The balance of the payment should be received by us 6 weeks before the start of any holiday. We also require a cheque for £100 to be paid 6 weeks before the start of the holiday against breakages. This cheque will not be cashed and will be refunded in full once the cottage has been checked to our satisfaction after your departure. In the event of problems or damage whilst you are at the property please notify us straight away so remedial action can be taken if possible. Bookings can’t be accepted from persons under 18. Group bookings and single sex parties are not allowed. A "No Smoking" policy exists anywhere on the premises. Guests are expected to maintain this rule at all times whilst occupying the property. Pets are not normally allowed except under exceptional circumstances such as guide dogs for the blind and only then with the express permission of the owners beforehand. Please discuss these arrangements with the owners before making any booking. Holidaymakers may only allow the number of people stated in the booking form to stay at the property and should endeavour to keep noise and disturbance to a minimum. The owners reserve the right to re-let the property where any monies due are more than 14 days in arrears, but the non refundable deposit will be retained. Guests are advised to take out their own cancellation, personal injury and personal property insurance. In the event that you have to cancel after the full amount has been paid (due to serious unforeseen circumstances) we will endeavour to re-let the cottage. If we fail to do so in the time available, the deposit and balance may be retained by us at our discretion. If the property becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. flood or fire) we will refund all monies paid. Any complaints about the property should be made whilst you are still there to enable inspection and rectification of any faults if possible. To enable thorough cleaning to take place between guests please do not arrive before 2.30 pm and depart by 10.00 am.
