To connect your Xbox console to Xbox LIVE with your wireless router:

1.   Set up a Router Connection from your wireless router to the Internet.

2.   According to your router manufacturer’s instructions, write down the SSID and channel of your wireless router. If you are unfamiliar with your router's SSID and channel, see your router documentation.

3.   According to your adapter manufacturer's instructions, connect your wireless-to-Ethernet bridge to your Xbox console.

4.   From the Xbox Dashboard, select Settings, Network Settings, Advanced, and Wireless.

5.   From the Wireless Status screen, select Settings.

6.   Your router can be configured to either broadcast or not broadcast its SSID. If your router is configured to broadcast its SSID, see step 6a below. If it is configured to not broadcast its SSID, see step 6b below. The Xbox Dashboard will list the SSIDs that your Xbox Compatible wireless bridge finds. If the Xbox Dashboard doesn’t show your router's SSID, your router isn’t broadcasting the SSID.

a)   If the SSID is broadcast, select the SSID (written down instep 2) of your wireless router from the list of SSIDs in the Select Network screen.

b)   If the SSID is not broadcast, select OTHER from the list on the Select Network screen. Then enter the SSID (written down in step 2) using the Xbox Dashboard virtual keyboard.

7.   From the Wireless Settings screen, select Network Mode as Infrastructure. Select Security Type and configure the Xbox Compatible wireless bridge with the same security settings (NONE, 64-bit WEP , or 128-bit WEP) as your wireless router.
Important:
The Xbox Dashboard supports 64- and 128-bit WEP encryption for Xbox Compatible wireless bridges. Microsoft highly recommends that you secure your wireless network by taking advantage of 128-bit WEP encryption. However, the use of WEP is not required for any Xbox Compatible wireless bridge to connect to a wireless router.

8.   Press A to save the new settings, and then B to go back.

9.   From the Wireless Status screen, check that your Xbox console is connected to the network name (SSID) specified in Step 6.

10.   Press B twice to go back. From the Network Settings screen, select Connect to connect to XboxLIVE.

11.   From the Connect Status screen, verify that the Xbox console connects to Xbox LIVE.

Problem getting wireless Epson SX515W connected to laptop running Windows 7

For anyone else having this problem here is how I fixed it ...

Make sure laptop is on and wireless connection is working.

Go to printer and press the set up button ( Find that in Epsons documentation !! ) which is the button with the spanner/screwdriver

scroll along to network setup on the little display screen and select your router from the list

Enter your password ( router secure password you use for internet access)

Go to laptop and click start , add device/printer , add wireless printer, when printer displays select and add it ... Job done !

You may need to download the new drivers for the printer and scanner but this is straightforward enough via epson website.

Good Luck!

Advice from Snopes.com   Shocked

1) Any time you see an E-Mail that says "Forward this on to 10
(or however many) of your friends, sign this petition, or you'll get bad luck,
good luck, you'll see something funny on your screen after you send it, or
whatever, it almost always has an E-Mail tracker program attached that tracks
the cookies and E-Mails of those folks you forward to.

The host sender is getting a copy each time it gets forwarded and then is
able to get lists of 'active' E-Mail addresses to use in SPAM E-Mails, or sell to
other spammers.  Even when you get emails that demand you send the email
on "...if you're not ashamed of God/Jesus" that's E-mail tracking and they're
playing on your conscience.  These people don't care how they get your email
addresses - just as long as they get them.  Also, emails that talk about a
missing child or a child with an incurable disease - "How would you feel if that
was your child..." - E-mail Tracking !  Ignore  them and don't participate!

2) Almost all E-Mails that ask you to add your name and forward on to others
are similar to that mass letter years ago that asked people to send business
cards to the little kid in Florida who wanted to break the Guinness Book of
Records for the most cards. All it was, and all any of this type of E-Mail is,
is a way to get names and 'cookie 'tracking information for telemarketers and
spammers - - to validate active E-Mail accounts for their own profitable purposes.

You can do your Friends and Family members a GREAT favor by sending this
information to them.  You will be providing a service to them, and will be
rewarded by not getting thousands of spam E-Mails in the future!

If you have been sending out (FORWARDING) the above kinds of E-Mail,
now you know why you get so much SPAM!

Do yourself a favor and STOP adding your name(s) to those types of listings
regardless how inviting they might sound or make you feel guilty if you don't!
Its all about getting email addresses - nothing more!

You may think you are supporting a worthy cause, but you are NOT!
Instead, you will be getting tons of junk mail later and very possibly a
virus attached!  Plus, we are helping the spammers get rich!
Let's don't make it easy for them!

Also: E-Mail petitions are NOT acceptable to Congress
or any other organization - i.e. social security, etc..
To be acceptable, petitions must have a signed
signature and full address of the person signing the
petition.  So, this is a waste of your time and you're
just helping the Email trackers.

Whip your photos into shape with just a click of the mouse!

This is what the world has been waiting for: Optimize and beautify all your photos in the same folder, with just a click of the mouse.

Digital Cameras are a must have: Almost everyone has one. The problem is that the self taken pictures often don’t turn out as good as the photographer wanted them to. The photos are mostly too dark, and weak in contrast and colour. Often they look as if you look at them through grey fog. Naturally it is possible to use a professional picture processor, in order to work on all the picture settings belatedly, so that the photo is radiant. Only: who knows how to do that? And even those who know how to regulate all picture settings and who know all optimization instructions that a professional programme has to offer, have a real problem with time: altering pictures on the PC, can take a very long time.

In this way the Ashampoo Photo Optimizer FREE is really a world sensation, which every user with a digital camera almost imperatively needs. The programme opens individual pictures and shows them in its window. A single click of the mouse is enough to optimize the photo entirely.
